To display image and status

Seldom it may be, whenever attachments are made in form of display images and thus status in any particular social media application that, regard is had on the  relevance and thus its representation made therefrom.

Whatsapp, Wechat, fb or suchlike applications are categorised as social media during this age, but nobody ever queries the authenticity of their appearances when the display images and thus the status attached to them are broadcast.

Many believe the fact that on the face of the icon in their contact lists, the images and status are created and thus prescribed by the very owners of the contact number in particular. Yes, no doubt about it.

How many of you have encountered  misunderstanding out of the display pictures not to mention the status therein, surprising enough to make groups of people jumping out of shock and there are occasions whereby people are sick for a few days after viewing those images plus their narrations.

It is extremely surprising to see some of the contacts have got the pictures of the Prime Ministers and PM in waiting who were prescribed as have lived in Malaysia.

I got to encounter a face of gigantic elephant and wild boar when I tried to contact an insurance agent for motor vehicle insurance renewal.

My friends also have to face their lecturer who has got a picture of a naked queen from nowhere statue in the display image. To my astonishment again, one of them has got to ask me to personally text that person because of the fact that he couldn't even "be present in the column" of his own mobile phone. I closed my eyes while typing for them though.

What is actually the thing they want to represent in terms of personal appearance as such? I understand it very much but it is inexplicable here because deeper conversations would mean something that needs to be solved.

It is understood by those who are used to this type of communication via social media, but to the first batch timers, including government servants or aristocrats, this would be a hindrance the level of avalanche in the Hindi Ocean when they actually find themselves trapped whether to communicate to a Vice President to a giant bank or to a wild boar or a ferrari as exposed by the display image, not to mention the status attached to it reads as "I am not your piggybags".

Begun has the day for Malaysians who are really strong enough to close their eyes and text their messages without having to regard the images as in existence.

I would rather prefer to have genuine person on the other side texting me. There are occasions when the contact persons are not the persons I am supposed to communicate with. That means their gadgets and phone numbers are accessible by not the real owners. O gosh what a hindrance again.

What's your display image and status then?

Rich & Poor Universities

For decades, it is accustomed to acknowledge those who graduated from universities and colleges of high standard and fame with the stigma of high achievements and prestige.

The expenses and liabilities might be oversighted by majority of the funders and/ or financiers. Scholarships are all meant for bondage not to mention the financing therefor.

There are students, ex-students and ex-graduates also from many tertiary institutions of higher education hitherto; are the clients to those establishments and without them, the very existence of those establishments are said to be futile.

Entries to those universities nowadays basically depend on the school of studies offered plus the eligibility of the students in terms of their sustainable fees payment, personality traits and above all qualifications as required by any faculty are important to be met during their course of studies.

Today, we can see thousands of graduates who refuse to accept the fact that unemployment rate exists from the day they started their studies. Professionally speaking, majority of them are seeking jobs instead of being "offerred" jobs.

To strike a balance between choosing the best place in universities and colleges and the best job is not found in the equilibrium of supply and demand in the job markets. For those who are  indifferent about jobs after graduating, they have secured a level of security right prior to finishing their studies. This is because they are either rich or already got plans for themselves so they are well excluded from the unemployment calculus.

Many students and graduates are struggling to pursue their studies vigorously in a way that competition to gain access to financing or funding their studies supersede the challenge to gain entry to the universities or colleges of their choices.

Government and private sectors are competing to offer tertiary education to the people and I am of the view that they are imparting the knowledge on how to choose between to be rich or to be poor on their own choice.

English or national language in certain countries need to be mastered and some of them are non-native speakers. The awkward situation occurs whenever the question papers are set in bilangual formats. Wait until you see their presentations and writing skills. Some of them can even attend political and economic rallies so to speak.

Again, in democratic countries, the choice is always clear. People want to choose the leaders who can make them what they want them to be. Some do not even realise that they are not even Malaysians or citizens to any country.

There goes the saying, no money no talk again when it comes to paying the skyrocketting study fees and not even a student is brave enough to champion the very existence of the university where he or she is studying, a question concerning the focus and aim of studying in university or college which has become a nuisance when the basic fees and books cannot be afforded by the students themselves.

To prepare a place in universities or colleges is to prepare oneself in a place where he or she can contribute positively towards the learning institutions and also the places of working (either government or private or own business). This embedded mentality of study place - work place has become the norm once students step into their chosen universities or colleges.

Therefore, nobody can explain with confidence why many graduates are not making money on their own after graduating? The irony is that there are thousands of them who are in actual fact contributors to the universities' or colleges' income. What is really happening now?

Of course, some people are not comfortable also when there are so many professors around for various reasons. Anyway, the gist of my opinion is basically about the quality of those learning institutions and thus the resulting students' credentials which are lacking when they first sit for the interview sessions. Can they handle their jobs then? Obviously not without certain criteria which need to be met and assessed.

What is your quality to become the best student and hence that quality is centric to your studies and career advancements?

Economic egg turbulence

Calories intake must be controlled especially by those who are quoted as obese as far as B.M.I is taken into consideration. To those who are ideal quoted, they must also take dietary advice seriously as to ensure healthy food intake and thus optimal general health is observed.

During economic crisis, restaurant and F&B cafes are advised to do strict budgetary controls in their purchasing departments. Hotels and giant restauranteurs are silent about the Just-in-time concept of raw food supplies and ingredients. Clients are always said to be the kings patronising their establishments.

Price of egg nowadays is 50sen per piece and an omellete is sold at £1 in Malaysian hotels and cafes during breakfast.

What a surprise is that there are still people dining in hoping to have the best omellete on their table for breakfast.

So how can you choose the best egg for your breakfast if the omellete is not sold distinctively or separately but must be bought in a package of breakfast meals either continental or asian breakfast menu?

Again, what a shocking view is that there are people who swipe their cards which are prompting a nervous situation whether the cards are honoured or referred to the issuer.

When people asked me what is my best cooked egg be like, I told them that I want a "luscious egg", fried and the yolk is still intact. What an appetite for those who are craving for the best fried egg.

What's your best fried egg be like during economic crisis and forex epidemic fever?

Question to the Prime Minister (Q2)

To many individuals, a corner in a living room is a feng-shui factor which must be observed to make the place as alive as possible.

It is a special place where people can trigger ideas and concerns about bringing betterment to the surrounding environment and this can result in healthier breathing space for them.

To many ministers, they can throw in any figure as to the level of economic advancements and their homework in this regard is vital for them to maintain their positions in government and politics as well.

A particular minister dealing with international trade is for sure an expert in summarising facts and numbers and this sometimes seen as a competitive edge for himself/ herself and feared by his/ her comrades and rivals.

Quite a shocking sentiment though, given our current economic and political climate, the devaluation of local currency has got its own figure which tantamount to various spillover effects which ministers themselves are scrutinising the factors involving sleepless nights and hardwork. And hence differing opinions and course of actions concerning major investment decisions and evaluations.

Indeed, nothing can supersede the supremacy of giant economies and vibrant affirmative plans in the crux of perpetual succession indicating commitments to save the suffering countries and the world as a whole.

Genius measures are needed to stabilise monetary policies and support at all levels are not to be obscured with damaging the downward demand and supply chains for the denominators, as the numerators are experiencing upward slope effects.

A library full of books is said to be very healthy. What about a bank account full of books (as in books of bread) ?

Budget 2016 - Malaysia for you?

Average living cost per day is not in actual fact an investment ratio to determine the income to be derived therefrom since expenses and costs incurred to gain income and revenue do not materialise at some point of times.

I try not to be too academic in this column because the more indepth the CPI baskets are analysed, the more we will notice that majority of us are not economists by profession but rather as political and/ ordinary labourers who are trained to be spoon-fed even though some are not bed-ridden.

My suggestion to improving the budget is that more efforts must be made at grassroot levels. There are people whether salaried or otherwise do not have sufficient money to make ends meet and this deficit happens on monthly basis. Some of them are holding high level posts in government sectors and GLCs too.

How much is the value attached to you?

Coins of all ages

Once upon a time (actually not so ancient) there was a man with a title interviewed one of my friends for a job interview as an officer of a company. Neither the person in charge for the Board nor the person who got to smuggle his resume assumed what actually a career position that he applied for.

Frankly speaking, job vacancies exist during economic bubbles or turbulences whereby the niche job market is also a presumption by the people at the strategic apex.

It came to a surprise to have the interview session started from 12 noon until 8 p.m. to such an extent that the interviewee had got to be sent home by the 1st Secretary of the Company.

He got the job the next day without further "ado". To many people this would be a joy to celebrate and thankful for. But to him, there was no such thing as true happiness as he was so astonished with the interviewer that he was not able to accept the letter of offer pre-signed by the nearly defunct HR Head of Department.

Again... quite complicated a person he was but before the removal of successful candidate was being made by the Company, not a single person ever asked what had made that particular person astonished during that interview session.

Again... methaphor was used which challenged my critical thinking during the time whereby his phones were ringing presumeably for  attending further interview sessions in another establishments.

What did he say that astonished you? Everybody would ask the same question. "He said that he has found his coin by the seaside during a financial trip in an island".

So many questions I asked which would challenge again his art of critical thinking. He never answered me. Beyond interview session is not the same with off balance sheet events as I rebutted in that critical debate which stemmed from the coin.

To my astonishment, he said that the interviewer found his coin there and wanted to form an offshore company there and wished that company to become a financial centre.

Eh hello...I told my friend that I also found a coin by the side of a Ferrari and that coin was such an insult for me because it was not enough to even pay a GST portion for my telco top up. What the heck in the world that you have to forego a lucrative job offer when you know the person who found that coin could make you a person with better career and pay (not payable by coins of course).

The next morning he called me and he said, "if you found your coin, perhaps you would become successful".

After a few years now, my friend never quit his job and never job hopping. Perhaps he hasn't found his coin yet.

After years gone by, at this very moment, I have a different view about what has been said as an "astonished coin" because I have a coin in particular which I will keep it as a gift from someone special in my life. I never underestimate people's view about coins. I am starting to realise that if you don't have, say 10¢ coin, you won't be able to get your 1,000,000 amount in full, will you?

I love my coin. This will make our current Prime Minister cry again if he never found his coins in his savings.

What's your coin?

Catwalk or talkwalk models

The oldies types of songs have got their evergreen touch so much so that the singers are recognised not just by their extrinsic personal glamourous appeareance but also their lifestyle.

Younger generation has got modern songs which are a hybrid of the oldies and fresh melodies which are well accepted for their tunes and lyrics but not to the older generation.

During a parade recently, we can see  a mismatch as found in matching concept of accounting principle whereby the songs are no longer accentuating on the side of improvisation of the current melodies but rather seen as meddling with the current repertoire.

There was an old man standing in the crowd not knowing exactly where his supporters were or in this context fans of die-hard nature who were really using him for the sake of extracting some sort of adlibbing; thanks to the music diary reality programme on not so affordable pay-tv shows where the crowds are forced to pay per view.

The flow of the slur and chunks of stanzas have nothing to do with the singers who have got the songs misconstrued as lullabies. A few of them couldn't sleep for more than two months thinking about the title of the song perhaps.

Proportionate to the above parade, cleanliness and robust economy as proponents stand for are just labels to make the opponents realise that conducting a premier office is not by the vote of no confidence but rather by organising a concert with parading crowds to that effect. Retaliation is not a vocabulary in any concert. Are we getting the point here?

Just imagine a giant bank is unable to pay salary to its Chief Executive Officer. What song can that particular person write and sing. Is parade the same concert to be organised. The most retarded colour is yellow now at least I can hear that some people murmuring.

What's your colour?

Curve in today's economy

A curve is a shape. There goes the saying if you can't shape in you gotta ship out. In economics, that curve is not as simple as how the idiom is being spelled or even pronounced.

Such a noun is a living thing or non-living thing as far as grammar is taken into account negating the effects of dialect should the word is spoken especially by the non-native speakers.

The core issue here is how the shape can play a pivotal role in stimulating economic growth in the way laissez-faire lead economy is obliged to fit in. The contrast is of course another shape in which the world economy in the future is expected to be dictated by that particular super power and hence its curve edge.

Competition is very stiff no matter how hard the economists form a regulatory framework to counter the bubble effects arising therefrom. The curve is always discriminatory and yet does not necessarily reach the targeted index as found in Body Mass Index (B.M.I) for those who are non-economists so to speak.

This analogy is not to be taken as giving a misleading question about how the shape of banking inclusion in the near future is to take place, but rather should be taken as an answer on how to say that an investment is not reaching its targeted NPV or IRR and/or desired positive returns especially when inflation is also discounted at the rate of no return.

I try to be cynical at this juncture instead of critical. Ask yourself, what is actually the most suitable handphone model and brand that can quench your thirst should the pricing in CPI does not include such gadgets.

Nobody ever tries to sip mobile phones soups or casings soups to summarise the above curve, ostensibly.

To drive or helping to drive

Many people would wish to have their dream cars to become true driveable cars under their spell. How many of them have got the drive to make themselves qualified to drive such cars and thus the cars are then perceived as the most suitable for them.

Car makers and sales people are not mutually exclusive in the pursuit of banking or financing drive to make the cars driveable. Quite cynical point of view it is to those who are obsessed with the possession of those cars as if they are being possessed by those who can't live without their dream cars.

I have been denied to have a photo taken with low reputation cars which are locally made or imported ones which are seen as obsolete even though they still have values as antiques.  The reason being that I was advised to aim for higher branded model of cars should I need to have a photo with.

Subsequent photos of me with not my dream cars are not supposed to take place. What does it entail is the connotation or remark which is negative towards driving those I can call them as low-perceived-branded cars.

For those who really understand the social demand about cars in Malaysia will give a nod to the above since people are perceived by what cars they are driving or driven, a status quo which denotes their levels in plural societies as such.

Be it as it may be, how can the brands of cars compete with each other when the clusters of purchasers are downgrading them in such a manner and the last thing you can hear about taking a photograph with local made cars is that you are advised to aim for a better car.

That advice would make the Prime Ministers and their predecessors cry the whole night thinking about what is actually happening to their national car models.

I shall make my dream car as a secret for public viewing if the above persists.

Sons of politicians or soils?

In any democratic country the norm is that the most popular leaders are elected in the election under review.

Begun has the day that electorates or the people who are going to vote during that particular polling day are to be equipped with the freedom in voting either to choose leaders made of the sons of politicians or otherwise than those above.

For some people, they are extremely attached with the dynasty. Figures are not to be revealed when the votes counting are questionable.

Therefore, the positions of the voters are indeed at stake instead of eyeing for the positions of those politicians.

Starving and thus craving

Children of today are taught to figure out how they'd convince their parents and teachers on how they can dine in or take away foods from popular fast food restaurants and cafés.

During economic crisis, even their parents are craving for those pizzas and spegetti meatballs etc.

Classes for cooking meals are obsolete in schools nowadays except for some reality shows on how to become the best chefs.

In order to have the best meals, we no longer hear people say "I can cook better than the chef", but rather we can hear "let's try another fastfood outlets or cafés at a discount".

When they look at their branded wallets, I can say that coins are not similar to syillings (however you might spell them).

Authenticity of official webpage

I wonder whether there are still people using media interfaces as a facade to conjure their appearances over the actual owners of the webpages or official interfaces. In simple word, part and parcel of hacking work.

I come across so many government and even banking webpages which millions have visited and yet I still cannot get the answers on my questions concerning the authenticity of the webpages and who actually own those webpages.

How to say no

I can't help it when a friend of mine personally says that he is now very uncomfortable with his secret admirer who got to see a shaman or someone who can become a witch in expressing someone's affection and trying to exert control of his life.

And now the shaman is starting to like that person. How can I help to say no to either meeting a third person to get your message through or saying goodbye to that particular secret admirer?

How much is the fee? O dear.

Question to the Prime Minister (Q1)

Malaysians are said to be very conservative when it comes to the declaration of debts but are very aggressive in revealing the debts and thus collection of debts therefrom.

Personal debts, business debts or even current accounts deficits to name a few in monetary terms, and also tangible and intangible material items which cannot be valued in monetery terms are paralysing the salaried people and businesses.

When questions are posed to the relevant bodies on how this matter to be raised and resolved, including  the existence of so many bill collectors, agents etc which act on behalf or not to recoup the amounts, nobody can give succinct and reliable solutions.

And thus, the deficiencies on both parties ie the debtors and creditors are at the peak when the claimants are so adamant in initialising actions for declaring the debts as too bad.

The state of the livelihood of people who are indebted will be less favourable in the next General Election in view of our current economic conditions and foreign exchange fiasco so to speak.

There are many government servants who are continuing studies via the aids of loans. They hope to obtain greater salary scales upon graduation and thus the increase in the amount of monthly salary can compensate the loan repayment. How many of them the Government would have to justify the salary scales to be in higher positions by 2018?

We live in the dark age of not knowing whether the future would be very bright for them who are said to be a burden to the Government. In the private sectors we can see the domestic demands for local and imported foods and goods are increasing but a slower pace, bear in mind there is no ringgit pegging kind of mechanism in place at this juncture.

What I really demand is that the Prime Minister and his shadow Prime Minister (if any) must come out with a formulae in assisting Malaysians who are taking home money less than 10% of their monthly income, but still need to repay another debts which will make their disposable income as deficient as drought water.

Nobody wants to be in the state of deficiencies or deficits every month and some quarters are asking for more deficits to earn a living.

Selfie as a selfish endeavour

How many of us in today's use of gadgets have not taken a selfie photo on his or her own? The influx of selfie photos literally would mean a possession of own photos whether meant for display in own gadgets and applications or for sharing purposes to whoever it may concern.

As for me, I take a selfie because I just want to see who am I actually wishing to meet up and when I see the photo again, I can see that everybody around me is doing the same thing. Hoping that our two faces come together and we can take another selfie together.

That does not mean when I take a selfie with the Prime Minister or a famous artiste (perhaps not), would make me part of their fame, rich and famous life. What I mean again is that part of the culture to be famous, we need to be in the frame? (this is where the Malay phrase "enter the frame" comes into the picture).

Nobody wants to be famous and share that fame in a piece of selfie or frame.

Worse still, when you have to buy the picture made for yourself when you have only a few penny in your pocket. What a selfie world indeed.

Welcome to my blog

I am starting to create a blog account here as an urge for an unlimited amount of ideas to be written and explored in today's multi media communication sphere which dictates the flow of ideas and understanding of skills and expertise should be learnt and applied to make the world a better place for literature, politics, science and engineering, human relations and so on.
